- Expertise – The founder and current leader of Abbott Design, Brad Abbott has been excelling in his work since he graduated from The University of Manitoba in 1977 and was awarded the University Gold Medal for highest standing. Two years later, he earned a second Bachelor’s in Architecture from Carleton University and was awarded the Ontario Architects Award by the Ontario Association of Architects, given to the most deserving architect from all of Ontario’s architecture schools. He honed his craft apprenticing for top firms in London (England), Calgary and Toronto. Since 1993, when he founded Abbott Design, he has been focused on his passion for custom home design.
